The Specialty Tools & Fasteners Distributors Association (STAFDA) is an international trade association composed of distributors and manufacturers, and rep. agents of light construction, industrial and related products. STAFDA members also include publishers of industry press serving the construction and industrial trades.

The ABMA exists to help American brush manufacturers by enhancing industry knowledge, providing a variety of networking opportunities, and promoting profitability for the members. ABMA strives to promote and strengthen value for its members to be the preferred and innovative source for broom, brush and mop products worldwide.

The Coated Abrasive Fabricators Association (CAFA) was established in 1979 for the express purpose of promoting, among its membership, the free exchange of ideas related to marketing, manufacturing, education and other areas of mutual interest. CAFA encourages networking among members and to share information on technology, process improvements, and other industry related information. The national Association will formulate, determine and coordinate policies of national and international importance and concern for the industry.

The Standards Council of Canada is a federal Crown corporation with the mandate to promote efficient and effective standardization. Located in Ottawa, the Standards Council has a 15-member governing Council and a staff of approximately 80. The organization reports to Parliament through the Minister of Industry and oversees Canada 's National Standards System.

Standardization is the development and application of standards - publications that establish accepted practices, technical requirements and terminologies for products, services and systems. Standards help to ensure better, safer and more efficient methods and products, and are an essential element of technology, innovation and trade.

The Standards Council carries out a variety of functions intended to ensure the effective and coordinated operation of standardization in Canada . It also represents Canada 's interests in standards-related matters in foreign and international forums.
