Weiler Corporation Named One of the
Best Places to Work in PA 2001

Cresco, PA, (12-21-01) -- Weiler Corporation was named to the "Best Places to Work in PA 2001" list compiled by the Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) in partnership with the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry, Kuntz Lesher LLP, Central Penn Business Journal and the Team Pennsylvania Foundation.

The award, created last year by the Ridge-Schweiker Administration, was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in Pennsylvania benefiting the state's economy, its workforce and businesses. Weiler Corporation was named to the list last year, and is again honored to place in the top 50 of 100 large-size companies in the state. The winners were chosen using the same formula as the Fortune "100 Best Companies to Work for in America." A scientific survey was sent to employers and employees focusing on management practices, friendliness of the organization, and feelings of trust, pride and fairness on the part of both management and workers.
