For the second year in a row, the American Eagle Award for promoting the basic concepts of free enterprise was presented to Weiler Corporation by The American Supply & Machinery Manufacturers' Association (ASMMA). This year's award was for "Outstanding Program-Community/Corporate Education." ASMMA represents nearly 600 member companies in the United States and Canada that manufacture a variety of maintenance, repair, operating and production supplies used in industry. Weiler Corporation will receive a $500 scholarship to award to a deserving student within our organization. Weiler's internal training programs under the scope of "Weiler University" foster co-worker development, creativity and innovation, and enable the Company to stay ahead of the learning curve in the industry through education. Weiler opens its doors to the local educational community offering job shadowing, faculty and college student internships, student tours, and scholarships.
