Weiler Corporation Wins American Eagle Award - AGAIN!

Weiler Corporation, an ISO 9001 manufacturer of power brushes, abrasives and maintenance products, has again been awarded the prestigious American Eagle Award. Weiler has won the award six times since 1996, and can proudly add a seventh win for 2005!

Each year, the Industrial Supply Association (ISA) invites its 600+ member companies to compete for the award. This year, ISA chose to change the format of the American Eagle Awards Program. Weiler Corporation was selected as a winner in one of the newly-added categories - Value-Added Manufacturer. To win in this category, companies must document cost savings and/or productivity improvement to the end-user. Weiler was recognized for its efforts in designing a new nylon filament brush and a new process for an end-user's application that resulted in more than $300,000 in savings for that end-user.

Charlie Day of Even Cut Abrasive Company and Vice-Chairman of the ISA Partnership Enhancement and Awards Committee stated that both Weiler Corporation and Quality Mill Supply of Franklin, IN, who won this award as a value-added distributor, “especially deserve recognition because of their efforts to involve channel partners in their activities and because they continually strive to bring value-added solutions and hard cost savings to their end-user customers”.

A crystal eaglet was presented to Karl Weiler, President and CEO at the opening session of the ISA convention on May 14 th in Toronto . Karl proudly accepted the award on behalf of all Weiler Corporation co-workers who made this exceptional achievement possible.
