INTRODUCTION: The “Search for the Gold Roughneck® Sweepstakes” (the “Sweepstakes”) is sponsored by Weiler Corporation (the “Sponsor”). One (1) grand prize winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received through the Sweepstakes period and ten (10) first prize winners will be randomly selected in connection with the search for Gold Roughneck® products.
ELIGIBILITY: The Sweepstakes is open to customers of authorized distributors or customers of distributors of authorized wholesalers of Sponsor's Roughneck® products who are at least 18 years of age and legal residents of the fifty United States or the District of Columbia (“Eligible Entrants”). Employees, family members of employees or persons living in the same households as employees of Sponsor or the advertising/promotional agencies of any of the Sponsor are not eligible to enter or win the Sweepstakes. PRIZES AND APPROXIMATE VALUES: Prizes to be awarded are: One (1) grand prize of a wide-screen LCD HDTV (approximate retail value of $1,500) and ten (10) first prizes of each winner's choice of one of the following: iPod® Nano, tool chest, portable DVD player, digital camera, golf bag, family dome tent, bait casting combo fishing pole (approximate retail value of $150 each).
ENTRY: The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time on March 1, 2008 and ends at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on December 31, 2008 . As detailed below under “Winner Selection,” first prize winners will be randomly selected throughout the entry period by finding a “Gold Roughneck® in a standard pack box of Weiler's item # 13131 Roughneck® product.” Each Eligible Entrant that finds a Gold Roughneck® will be automatically entered into the grand prize drawing upon following the instructions in and returning the “prize claim/entry card” enclosed with the Gold Roughneck®. Eligible Entrants may also enter to win a first prize and the grand prize by mail. To enter by mail without purchase, print in black or blue ink your full name, complete address, including zip code, telephone number (including area code), e-mail address (if available), and the words The Search for the Gold Roughneck® Sweepstakes in the upper right hand corner of a 3” x 5” card or an 8 ½” x 11” piece of paper and mail in a first-class stamped envelope to: The Search for the Gold Roughneck® Sweepstakes, Weiler Corporation, One Weiler Drive, Cresco, PA 18326. To be eligible, an entry must be postmarked (if mailed) on or after March 1, 2008 and on or before December 31, 2008 .
WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION: So long as the finder is an Eligible Entrant, each finder of a Gold Roughneck® shall, subject to verification, receive one of the first prizes. For a chance to win a first prize without purchase, follow the entry rules set forth above. Each Eligible Entrant who enters via this mail-in method shall have his or her entry randomly assigned a particular Roughneck® 13131 product at Sponsor headquarters. If a mail-in entry is assigned to a Gold Roughneck® product, that entry will receive a first prize. Mail-in entries will not receive the Roughneck® products to which they are assigned; such assignment shall be used for first prize winner determination only. The grand prize winner will be selected in a random drawing the week of January 15, 2009 from among all first prize winners and mail-in entrants. The drawing will be held at Sponsor headquarters, under the supervision of Sponsor, whose sole decision will be final. By accepting the prize, each winner agrees to release Sponsor, its affiliates, agents and employees from any and all liability, claims, injuries, actions or proceedings arising out of and/or sustained in connection with use, acceptance or possession of prize. Winners will be required to sign Affidavit of Eligibility and Release, which must be returned within fourteen (14) days of notification, or prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be chosen. Return of prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be selected. The odds of winning a first prize are approximately 1 out of 27,000. The odds of winning the grand prize will be determined by the number of eligible entries received. Limit one prize per family or household. The Sponsor makes no warranties with regard to any prize. Prizes are nontransferable, have no cash value, and cannot be redeemed for cash. The sponsor reserves the right to substitute an item of equal or greater value if item is not available. All claimed prizes will be awarded provided a sufficient number of Eligible Entries are received.
WINNER RESPONSIBILITIES: The grand prize and ten (10) first prizes must be claimed by January 31, 2009. Winners will also be responsible for any and all local, state and/or federal taxes and any expenses not specified as part of the prize.
RELEASE OF SPONSOR: All entries become the property of the Sponsor, who assumes no responsibility for late, misdirected or lost entries. Entrants agree to publication and/or display of their names, addresses (limited to city and state), likenesses, voices and/or photographs (without further compensation where lawful), and entry forms to be made at the discretion of the Sponsor.
APPLICABLE LAW: The Sweepstakes is void in Puerto Rico and where prohibited or restricted by law. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel the Sweepstakes at any time due to printing or other errors. By entering this Sweepstakes, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.

CONDUCT: The Sponsor reserves the right, in their sole discretion, to disqualify any individual found to be defrauding the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes, to be violating these Official Rules, or to be acting in a disruptive manner. ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DAMAGE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
CHANGE OF ADDRESS POLICY: It is the entrant's sole responsibility to notify the Sponsor in writing at the address indicated above if he/she changes his/her address. All address corrections must be received or postmarked in the time frame for eligible entries noted above.
