The part was brushed as shown in photo. The part rotates as the brush comes down on the center of the part. The brush must be centered as not to flip the part off the holder.
Part rotation is 3 revolutions in 8 seconds with an AMP draw of 5 AMPS at 1,750 RPM.
The straight filaments flow in and around the inside radii of the part as crimped filament does not flow into the part. If the correct AMP draw is placed on the part with the crimped filament, the part will flip out of the holder. This solution reduced brush usage by 25%.
